According to the composer's notes, these "Eight Pieces with Windows" have been written to be heard with the same attention you pay when you look through a window. The window may not exist but it is the only link between the room where you are playing the guitar and the place where the house is located. These pieces provide views of four great places in Argentina: the Pampa, the Mountains, the Sea and the City. All the geographical rhythms, lights, contrast, climates or climate variations, typical sounds, how the local people get their food, what they do in their free time: all of these things are felt in the music and have to be expressed.
