This spirited March is perfect for introducing young bands to the articulations, form, and dynamic contrast common to March style. The piece was inspired by "Cappy," a cherished horse owned by a friend of the composer. Cappy was known for his gentle temperament, insatiable appetite, and joyful nature, as captured by this work.
