This original setting of the familiar text we know as "Simple Gifts" uses mixed meter and a colorful harmonic palette to highlight and explore the depth of Joseph Brackett's beloved poetry. This powerful new composition brings an exciting and accessible musical vocabulary to the words that inspired it, using a wide range of character and emotion. There are optional percussion instruments you can add for an even more artistic experience. Absolutely beautiful!
