These Entrance Antiphons for the Advent Season were composed to accompany the entrance procession for each of the four Sundays of Advent. They follow an A, B form: A is sung by cantor or choir and repeated by the assembly, B is sung by cantor or choir, and then A may be repeated One might use a cantor to intone A, but use the choir to sing B each time. The verses may be sung be canto or choir. Antiphons may be sung with or without organ accompaniment, and the congregational singing may by enhanced by the additional support of the choir and/or instrumentalists. Reproducible parts for congregation are included.
