These two short refrains with optional verses, were set for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee's Rite of Election, held on the first two Sundays of Lent. Designed to create a variety of style and sound to be represented in celebrations that include peoples of varied ethnic background. Also intended to be learned and sung immediately with a strong scriptural "hook" to help those gathered remember the day. Use of the verses offers opportunities for use in Sunday worship.
