This soaring, contemplative work by Baroque master J.S. Bach is here transcribed for piano solo. Fans of choral music will immediately recognize the contrapuntal nature of the voicings as the melody remains ever-present. Air on the G String is simply great music that deserves a place in every serious musician’s repertoire.
