"JaRod Hall launches a familiar melody into the cosmos with Blackstar Alpha, a clever and imaginative set of variations on “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” Also known from “Baa Baa Black Sheep” and the Alphabet Song, this well-loved tune is reimagined in bold new ways—twisted, turned, and reassembled across an interstellar soundscape.
Driving rhythms, engaging textures, and inventive orchestrations make this piece an exciting challenge for young bands, while the recognizable theme ensures instant appeal for performers and audiences alike. Perfect for concert or festival, Blackstar Alpha brings fresh energy and stellar creativity to a timeless melody."
