Fred Sturm’s stunning big band arrangements continue to mesmerize us. This arrangement that was commissioned by the HR Big Band of another Steely Dan classic is full of energy and fortitude and seamlessly melds the two genres of jazz and rock together. Your band will revel in the fast paced energy this tune exudes, and it will keep them and your audience on the edge of their seats. There is extensive “shredding” space for tenor and guitar along with fantastic “in your face” ensemble writing to enjoy. (5-4-4-4)
