Mournful for String Orchestra - Score

Evocative of the Civil War period with its mournful tune, this piece eases the fear of shifting to 3rd position with a slurpy slide up and back. Set in A minor, translucent harmonies lend an Appalachian sound to this intermediate-level piece.
