Inspired by the painting “Skating in Central Park,” this work evokes that magical feeling of holiday cheer that begins with the first glimpse of the white snow and icicles hanging from the window on a cold morning. Composer Anthony O’Toole makes use of holiday music vernacular in his original tone poem that’s sure to become a yearly staple in your winter concerts.
