Yamaha Clavinova CLP-765GP – Grand Digital Piano Overview
Welcome to Popplers Music. My name is Josh. Let’s talk pianos.
Today, we are going to be taking a look at Yamaha’s Clavinova CLP-765GP grand piano. The CLP-765GP is Yamaha’s entry-level Clavinova model in a grand cabinet. You can also get the CLP-795 in a grand cabinet, which has upgraded features. Here are some features found on the Yamaha CLP-765GP.
The CLP-765GP is loaded with convenient features only digital pianos can deliver. You can use headphones to keep your surroundings quiet or connect a Bluetooth device to your Clavinova to play back through its speakers.

Also, connect Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app to gain extra help for your piano practice. The simple control panel on the left-hand side of the CLP-765GP also makes it easy to change piano settings.

Featuring Yamaha’s latest grand touch S keyboard with a broad dynamic range of touch and response on the level of a grand piano, excellent consistency and nuanced expression give pianists the utmost control over touch.

The CLP-765GP features an escapement mechanism that reproduces the sensation near the bottom of the key dip. They have been designed in a way that the click is discernable only with the lightest of keystrokes, similar to that on a grand piano.
The CLP-765GP has been adjusted to provide additional friction that balances key repetition and response without impeding performance.
Grand expression modeling is a groundbreaking new technology that enables the pianist to use their techniques to produce the limitless tonal variation unique to grand pianos. The ability to vary the intensity of the speed of touch to produce different tones adds another dimension to the joy of musical expression.

Virtual resonance modeling performs real-time modeling of the sympathetic resonance created by the behavior of the strings and body of the instrument. This is the foundation of the beautiful sound of a genuine grand piano.
Also, the latest acoustic design technology delivers lifelike concert grand piano tone and resonance to your home for you to enjoy. The recording function featured in the CLP-765GP allows you to record your performances with a single touch, which is useful when you want to review your playing objectively.
Additionally, you can record up to 16 tracks for simultaneous playback so different hands can be recorded separately or overdub parts with different voices.
