Mixed meters, countermelodies, and open chords contribute to this energetic and rhythmic arrangement of the popular folk song. Clever and imaginative, this setting features verses about Old Joe playing the violin, dancing, and singing. A dynamite choice for young and developing choirs! This edition, released in 2025, includes an added violin part and adjustments throughout. Please note that the original and new editions, while similar, are not compatible.
