Reflecting the words of Psalms 139 - Thomas A. Dorsey, in the year 1938, penned these words:
"Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand, I am tired, I am weak, I am worn; Through the storm, through the night, Lead me on to the night; Take my hand, precious Lord lead me home."
Mr. Dorsey also wrote the tune associated with this text. Douglas Wagner has taken Dorsey's music and with text in mind arranged this inspiring setting for 3-5 octaves of handbells.
