Peter Schickele considers the least employed among musicians, those who play the lesser-called-for instruments listed above. In his desire to put these good instruments to profitable use, he has arranged four well-known Christmas melodies for just this combination of players, in hopes that they will find suitable holiday employment. The work consists of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Good King Wenceslas, We Three Kings, and Jingle Bells. Let the festivities begin!
