Rondo For Violoncello And Piano G Minor Op 94

Though only a minor pendant to the great Cello Concerto, Antonõn Dvork inch.s Rondo op. 94 is an effective and entertaining piece that belongs in the standard repertoire of every cellist. Dvork composed it in December 1891 shortly before leaving for America, and he gave the work its premiËre performance on 3 January 1892 with his friend, the cellist Hanus Wihan, during his farewell concert tour. To produce this urtext edition Milan Pospõsil consulted the autograph score and first edition not only for the piano version, but also for the orchestral version of October 1893.
