This beautiful tenor saxophone feature was originally written for the Jaco Pastorius Word Of Mouth Band, and recorded by the Bob Mintzer Big Band on his 1986 DMP recording entitled Camouflage. Playable by proficient groups, it is set in a ballad feel, but includes a double- time section for the band and soloist. Mintzer says that the music is "all about the feel" and that the execution of the actual notes is quite accessible. Trumpets double on flugelhorns, and rhythm section parts are partially notated.
