Karen Beaumont brings us this highly flexible collection in response to the growing demand for shorter worship service voluntaries. Each of the seven postludes are less than a minute and a half in length and contain interludes that can serve as shorter works or transitions between multiple postludes. The pieces are thoughtfully arranged to flow seamlessly from one to the next. While each composition can be played with a single manual, suggestions for incorporating pedal or multiple manuals are also provided. Additionally, these pieces are adaptable for use on a piano or other keyboard instrument.
