Seasoned piano educator Gail Smith offers this beginning-level piano method employing gospel, Christmas, and sacred tunes. The book begins with an introduction to elementary note reading on the piano, then progresses to exercises and arrangements. To illustrate various arranging concepts, some tunes are shown in two ways - one simple, the other more detailed. A brief dictionary of musical terms and a basic piano chord encyclopedia are also included. Before you know it, you will be creating your own gospel piano arrangements! Includes access to online audio.
