And now for something completely different for Advent! So much of our traditional music for the season of waiting is slow and in a minor key. The emphasis is on longing and despair. John Parker and David Lantz break the mold with this exuberant neo-spiritual, Great Day A-Comin’. Focusing on the joy to come, this exciting a cappella number simply bubbles over with good cheer. A spirited change for the later weeks of Advent.
