This fine text is ideal for Easter and Ascension services. Written ten days after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the text addresses Easter hope out of terrible suffering, and reveals a Christ who is both here and now. The combination of the hymn tune TRURO accompanied by familiar strains of Widor's "Taccata" from his "Fifth Organ Symphony," creates a festive presentation.
