American folk music is full of references to lost love and girls left behind. This expertly arranged compilation includes Liza Jane, Buffalo Gals, Aura Lee, Oh Susanna, My Darlin' Clementine, Sweet Betsy from Pike and Cindy. Rather than a standard medley format, Myers arrangement is a unique musical statement using both full sections and fragments of these familiar “girl” songs, and often overlays two or more of the tunes simultaneously. Treat your band and audience to this unique look back to “The Lasses of Lore”.
