“Rejoice, Rejoice, Believers,” “Rejoice the Lord is King,” and “Rejoice Ye Pure in Heart” give this collection its name. Festive and celebratory in character, each with its own unique style. From the fugal type passages in “Rejoice the Lord is King” to the more march like setting of LLANGLOFFAN, the creative attributes of Robert Powell’s compositional technique are on display.
