Each of the three meditations are based on Scripture texts. Harmonic language reminiscent of early Messiaen, but with the hard notes omitted! Great boon to students and intermediate players seeking music with a more advanced tonal language but simultaneously practical (attainable/learnable) and palatable for congregation.
Movements include:
1. When you search for me, you will find me
Jeremiah 29:13-14
2. Lazarus
John 11:1-40
3. Be still, and know that I am God
Psalm 46:10**Click the Speaker to Listen
