Like Alexander Schreiner's famous "Lyric Interlude", this delightful piece was used for many years as the opening theme of his regular Saturday evening broadcast from the Tabernacle organ in Salt Lake City. Dr. Schreiner had a worldwide audience during his fifty-five years as Tabernacle Organist and for the Sunday morning CBS "Music and the Spoken Word" with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Ideal for a prelude or voluntary, this beautiful piece is wonderfully characteristic of his persona and soul.
