A poignant Lenten anthem especially appropriate for Holy Week. Utilizing the text fragment “Crucifixus etiam pro nobis” from the Credo of the Mass, and passages from Isaiah 53, this composition is composed in a Baroque style fugue that beautifully captures the events and emotions of the Passion.
