Recorder Apprentice

Recorder Apprentice is a new recorder method by Wendy Barden and Bruce Pearson. For classroom or independent study, students as young as third grade are introduced to music through five pitches, quarter and half note/rests, 4/quarter meter, and repeat signs. Filled with Renaissance dance melodies, rounds and a duet, improvisation and composition, reflection, and six challenge assessment lines, this new recorder method presents the perfect transition from general music classes to your performance classroom!
