Grand Feel III Wooden-Key Action

Kawai’s flagship digital action borrows directly from its acoustic grands: long, fully wooden keys that rock on a balance pin, with a pivot length that matches a Kawai grand for an even, controllable touch from the front of the key to the back.

Ivory & Ebony Touch Keytops

A finely textured, matte surface wicks away moisture from your fingertips for secure control without feeling slippery, and the black keys use a matching Ebony Touch finish with a natural wood-like feel.

Triple Sensor, Let-off & Grand Feel Pedals

A third key sensor keeps fast repeats clean, let-off adds the subtle grand “notch”, graded counterweights on all 88 keys balance the touch, and the damper, soft and sostenuto pedals are weighted like an SK-EX concert grand.

SK-EX Competition Grand

Recorded from the newest Shigeru Kawai SK-EX-L concert grands that have won over pianists at the Chopin, Hamamatsu and Sendai competitions, with a brilliant, clear tone and a full attack.

SK-EX Concert Grand

An earlier SK-EX with a warm, sensitive voice, a broad attack and rich reverberation, perfect for romantic repertoire.

SK-EX Rendering & Piano Artisan

Multi-channel sampling and full resonance modelling across all 88 keys make the sound respond like an acoustic, and Virtual Piano Artisan lets you voice and regulate it to your ear.

TwinDrive Soundboard System

Transducers drive a real ribbed wooden soundboard, just like an acoustic piano, adding organic warmth, broader range and natural room ambience that speakers alone cannot create.

Speakers & 360° Diffusers

Low-distortion drivers with top diffuser panels spread 135 watts of sound evenly in every direction, so the piano fills the room for both the player and listeners.

Premium Audio & Headphones

A Dual DAC and three custom amplifier modules feeds the speakers with clean, detailed power, and Spatial Headphone Sound places the piano naturally in front of you for comfortable late-night practice.

Bluetooth, App & USB

Stream music or run apps over Bluetooth MIDI and Audio, control the piano from the PianoRemote app, and record or play back MP3 and WAV files over USB, with built-in lesson books and etudes.

5″ Touchscreen Display

A full-color touch panel sits flush in the cabinet, making sounds, settings and recorder functions as easy to reach as an app on your phone.

Upright-Style Cabinet with Soft Fall

Built as one solid, resonant body under 19″ deep, with tapered legs, a wide leather-look music rest and an upright-style fallboard that closes slowly and safely.

Natural Walnut Finish

An exclusive textured wood-grain finish that brings a warm, real-wood look to the flagship.

Cabinet Finishes

Available in Premium Rosewood, Satin Black, Satin White and Ebony Polish, plus Natural Walnut, to suit any room.

Dimensions

57 1/3″ wide, 18 2/3″ deep and 39 3/4″ tall, weighing 182 lbs (201 2/3 lbs in Ebony Polish).
